Brazil: Fines Chevron for Oil Spill

Rio is one of the most naturally beautiful cities in the world.  It’s geography is stunning.  Anyone who would dare to denigrate the Rio’s natural beauty should be severely punished.  Brazil’s environmental agency said recently that it will fine Chevron nearly $28 million for a continuing oil spill off the Rio de Janeiro coast, and the company could face several more similar fines in the coming days.  The fine should be higher.
